The breakfast was very good value for money, amd the staff were friendly
the bed was a bit too soft and there was a cockroach in the bathroom.
It was situated in a convenient place for the training course I was going to.
The Staff were very good and cheerfull, in both the hotel and the bar/eating area
I like the simplicity of this hotel and it is good value for money.
Easy to find, clean comfortable room, good choice of breakfast with the best toast ever!
The food was very good value for money. All of the stafff were very friendley
On the first night there was a function on and it was very noisey into the early hours of the morning. My room was on the ground floor near the reception area so people congregated just outside to have a smoke and drunken chat. This made for not a good nights sleep!
The location is good. The staff friendly, the room was clean and comfy.
The bathroom could do with upgrading as it was a bit dated but maybe that reflects the star rating / cost. But a clean white bathroom without old grouting / silicon would make all the difference. So in relation to next question OK to recommend others to stay but the bathroom not as good as it should be.
Could do with a refurbishment and a good scrub from top to bottom.
The bathroom had mould around the tiles and the tap would not stop dripping, the mattress had seen better days very lumpy, the wall lights would not work just crackling, and one of them was just hang on a wire.
no staff on reception at all on my stay, and the door card did not work on my return on the 2nd day so had to phone for help to be told just leave your door open if you wish to leave the room, great if you have nothing worth anything.
Proximity to daughters home
The receptionist was very unfriendly and the room was very run down! Cost of room was too high!
It is joined to the Hungry Horse
Everything very good+nice+clean
The coca cola = to big
The location was good as I was on a course right beside it. The hotel restaurant was excellent value for money Beds were so comfy and room was very clean Staff were very lovely too
It's a bit outdated decor wise but it's stil very clean
TV was inoperative - poor signal. Shower head had poor flow. Broken curtain rail. Breakfast buffet poorly organised.
